NHS Evidence – launching a new NHS brand
In Lord Darzi's report, High Quality Care for All, the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) was asked to establish NHS Evidence, a new online portal providing the latest clinical and non-clinical evidence and best practice.

NICE needed to agree a strategy for launching the service within a tight timescale and before it had time to build its own in-house team.
Within three weeks, we developed a strategy that would help to position the new brand, harness potential early adopters in the health service, provide tactical recommendations for a launch plan and promotion over the longer-term, and which also included recommendations on resources and organisational structure.
The strategy was well-received both within NICE and beyond.
